This July, a new cohort of university students from Chile will arrive in Boston and Cambridge<\/strong> to take part in the University Bootcamp 2025: Entrepreneurship & Innovation Experience<\/em><\/strong>\u2014an immersive weeklong program organized by ChileMass<\/a> in one of the world\u2019s leading innovation ecosystems.<\/p>\r\n

What Is the University Bootcamp 2025?<\/h2>\r\n

From July 21 to 25, eight students from three Chilean universities \u2014Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Chile (UC Chile)<\/a>, Universidad de Valpara\u00edso<\/a>, and Universidad T\u00e9cnica Federico Santa Mar\u00eda<\/a>\u2014 will engage in a dynamic agenda in Boston and Cabridge, that combines expert-led classes with visits to top academic and industry institutions. Participants come from a wide range of academic backgrounds, including physics, biochemistry, marine biology, data science, and astrophysics.<\/p>\r\n

Throughout the week, students will attend hands-on workshops and sessions at the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC)<\/a>, visit institutions like MIT<\/a> and Harvard<\/a>, and take part in networking events with entrepreneurs and innovators based in the U.S.<\/p>\r\n

Academic Content Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

Participants will explore key topics essential for launching and scaling a startup. Sessions are led by professors and industry experts, and cover:<\/p>\r\n

    Business Model Innovation<\/strong> \u2013 Exploring internationalization strategies, the Prosperity Paradox, and tools like PESTLE and Porter\u2019s 5 Forces.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Profit Formula & Discovery-Driven Planning<\/strong> \u2013 Using frameworks like SWOT and the business model canvas for lean, strategic planning.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Fundraising<\/strong> \u2013 Learning how to approach angel investors and venture capital firms, understand term sheets, and manage cap tables.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Finance for Entrepreneurs<\/strong> \u2013 Managing early-stage cash flow, understanding accounting basics, and exploring instruments like SAFEs and convertible notes.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Pitch Deck Development<\/strong> \u2013 Building persuasive pitch decks and elevator pitches, along with supporting documents for due diligence.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n

    Go-to-Market Strategy<\/strong> \u2013 Planning launch strategies and measuring success with tools like Dave McClure\u2019s AAARRR metrics.<\/p>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n

    A Commitment to Future Innovators<\/strong><\/h3>\r\n

    Thanks to a partnership with Boston College<\/strong>, participants will stay on campus, experiencing college life in Chestnut Hill<\/strong> while accessing the professional and cultural opportunities of Greater Boston.<\/p>\r\n

    The bootcamp is part of ChileMass\u2019s broader mission to connect Chile and the United States through collaborative innovation, education, and entrepreneurship.<\/p>\r\n
