In partnership with ChileMass and Circles Learning, Caja Los Andes has launched the largest AI teacher training in Chile\u2014a free, fully online course designed to equip 4,000 educators with essential skills to thrive in the digital era.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The initiative is aimed at educators from schools, institutes, and universities affiliated with Caja Los Andes, and it requires no prior experience with AI. Through just six sessions, participants will learn how to use tools like ChatGPT and other generative AIs to improve lesson planning, material creation, student assessment, and classroom management.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u201cLeading countries are embedding AI at the heart of their education strategies. Chile must do the same,\u201d says Sof\u00eda Matte, Director of Education at ChileMass. \u201cThis course gives teachers tools to be more efficient, reduce stress, and teach with more creativity. It\u2019s also a chance to rethink assessment and embrace AI ethically and critically.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Free, Online, and Open to 4,000 Educators<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The course is hosted on Circles Learning, a platform designed to promote active, collaborative learning. It combines the intimacy of small-group discussions with the scale of online delivery\u2014making it possible to support thousands of teachers while still fostering peer connection.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Participants will receive constant feedback, work in teams, and apply their learning to real classroom challenges. Five teachers will travel in late October to visit leading institutions, meet global experts, and participate in cultural and academic exchanges.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>This international experience, coordinated by ChileMass, includes airfare, lodging, meals, insurance, and entry to all scheduled activities.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Transforming Education Through AI Collaboration<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Chile is now part of a small group of countries actively training teachers in AI\u2014a necessary step to prevent growing digital and educational gaps.
